Property Care Administrator - Shaftesbury - Wessex Response

Wessex Response are a family run company based in Dorset, with over 50 years’ experience in the industry. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Property Care division based at our head office in Shaftesbury.

Main Duties & responsibilities:

  • Monitor the general inbox which receives email orders from clients and general queries. establish the nature of the email and identify the action as required.
  • Regularly check client portals for works orders.
  • Input data onto the internal IT system to raise jobs received via email, telephone and direct from contracts Managers.
  • Communicate with the coordination team regarding new jobs and inform them of any priority calls that need to be attended.
  • Undertake the administration of engineer timesheets as and when required.
  • Type quotes and letters as required.
  • Answer the department telephones and take messages when necessary.

Essential competencies:

  • Computer literate and confident with Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Excellent data entry skills and confident with numbers.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Confident telephone manner (inbound & outbound).
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively to meet targets.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced role.
