Stonehenge; one of the most recognised landmarks in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stonehenge is located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire and is a national, legally protected, scheduled ancient monument owned by the Crown and managed by English Heritage, with surrounding land owned by the National Trust.
Opened in 2013, the visitor centre has state of the art facilities and is open all year round with nearly 1 million visitors per year.
