Background:
Grasmere is a very unique property situated in Shillingstone near Blandford Forum. Originally an old bungalow, the property was completely demolished to make way for a brand new, rather unique two storey family home.
The house is not your standard build; the owner used an innovative German factory pre-fabricated build system. The structure of the house is built by the firm in Germany in five days and then shipped to the site location where it is assembled. The house, designed by RB Studio Architects, and was featured on BBC 2’s Building Dream Homes.
Scope:
Wessex Electricals installed wiring throughout the whole house including lighting, power and a smart home automation control system which allows access to adjust the lighting and heating from a smartphone.
