Client: Curo Group
Location: Bath, North East Somerset
Description of Work: Lighting Upgrade
Background:
Curo is a not-for-profit housing and support organisation based in Bath, North East Somerset, providing affordable homes, care and support services across the West of England. They manage 12,000 homes and are building around 300 new homes every year.
Scope:
Due to the nature of the building – an old Grade listed Victorian property, since sympathetically converted to flats by Curo, the replacement lighting systems were carefully selected to ensure a suitable fit with the buildings architecture as well as maintain an aesthetically pleasing fit for residents and visitors alike.
Part of the project included light fittings in the atrium stairwell, requiring scaffolding as well as making good much of the surface wiring which was on show. The work was completed in one day to ensure minimal disruption to the residents.
