Description of Work: Installation and Maintenance of CCTV and Alarm Systems.
Background:
Wessex Fire and Security have been providing monitoring and maintenance services for Gillingham school’s CCTV and Intruder alarms for decades.
Scope:
Initially, Wessex were instructed to provide maintenance and monitoring of the existing intruder system and, as new buildings have been added across the campus, the intruder system has evolved significantly.
Originally we installed CCTV cameras around the perimeter of key buildings and have since added numerous internal cameras to provide comprehensive coverage of the campus. The brief for the new system required the original cameras to remain operational at all times to help ensure the safety and security of the staff and pupils.
