Description of Work: Reactive Maintenance for Multi-trade Works
Background:
Housing 21, formally known as the Royal British Legion Housing Association, is a leading social enterprise promoting choice and independence for older people through a range of care, health and housing solutions.
Housing 21 currently provides around 120,000 hours of care each week, provides services to over 28,000 service users and manages 18,000 apartments and bungalows including specialist accommodation for people with dementia, learning disabilities and mental health problems.
Scope:
The Wessex Group provides a full range of maintenance services across the majority of the Housing 21 portfolio across the South West including:
- 24/7/365 responsive repairs service
- Preventative maintenance & statutory servicing
- Periodic test inspections
- Void property repairs
- Rewire & partial rewires
- Schedule 17 electrical testing and repairs
Wessex Electricals are delighted to expand their relationship with Housing 21 to include the Isle of Wight. Initial projects have included the replacement of night storage heaters with new Quantum Dimplex heaters at Evan Williams Court. Situated in Carisbrooke, the court has 29 bedrooms and a range of communal facilities.
